[ Jayce!! Still, it's all said with the endless affection that he feels. ]

It would be an impressive feat if my eggs were to be worse than raw lizards.

[ He can't help but smirk at that. ]

I...want it to be perfect for you. [ Is what Viktor mutters as his cheeks go hot with blush again. ] It is something that you deserve.

[ Jayce leans onto his palm, looking right at Viktor with all of the affection that he has. ]

Careful, there. I might start to think you love me.

[ A playful little grin as he says it. ]

But I think this is perfect, regardless.

[ Viktor flusters as Jayce stares with those eyes that hold no small amount of affection within them. All of it is pointed directly at Viktor who can't help but blush at the attention he's currently getting.

He can't help but snort out a laugh before coughing lightly into his arm. ]

If you still have to think about it, then I am doing a poor job of-of showing it. Perhaps I might do something else to assuage your uncertainties?

[ A playful grin sent back. Viktor will get out the two plates needed as he tries his best to plate everything. Jayce will be presented with a haphazard amount of scrambled eggs, with cheese, and two very uneven pancakes. Viktor will set his plate down in front of him before leaning in to press a soft kiss against his lips. ]

[ A chuckle, reaching up to return the kiss and letting it linger there for a second. Maybe it is uneven and haphazard, but it's made with love and Jayce is certain that it will make everything taste amazing. ]

I have no doubts.

[ Viktor has said the words to him, and when someone says the words - Jayce sees no reason to do anything but believe them. He waited to hear them, and now that he has, he's never letting them go. ]

It looks perfect, by the way.

[ Well, it looks made by Viktor, which was perfect. There's beauty in the imperfections, after all. ]

If your definition of perfect is lopsided pancakes... [ Viktor mutters to himself, but still loud enough for Jayce to hear. ] I am going to have to wonder how we ever even managed to build the hexgates then.

[ Viktor, who always strived for perfection and wanted nothing more than to erase that which made him imperfect. ] Hopefully they taste fine.

[ He will set two plates of pancakes, eggs, and bacon at the table. ] Do feel free not to eat it if it is terrible...you will not wound my pride.

My definition of perfect is anything you make for me.

[ Yes, that sappy. He picks up a piece of bacon with his hands and takes a bite of it first. It tastes like bacon! That means it's right. ]

So far it's fine. [ So he's just taken a bite of bacon, so what. He expects it will all be fine. ]

Trust me, I wouldn't if it were. I couldn't make myself eat something I didn't want to eat, even to be polite.

Jayce... [ that is so, so, so sappy Viktor can't help but give him a look and an amused snort. ]

You are being ridiculous, again, but it would be a lie if I were to say that it is not the same for me.

[ He finally sits down, giving the other a once-over, before finally taking a bite of his own bacon. Hm. It's not half bad, actually. ]

Is there...anything you would like to do today? Aside from eating a very plain and standard breakfast?

[ He raises an eyebrow. ]

Not ridiculous. It's how I feel. [ Eyes his food for a moment. ] Why don't we see how the morning plays out? All I know is I want to be at your side.

[ A pleased hum. ]

So I guess I'd like it to be like any day.

[ He knows how he is. ]

Just like any ordinary day, really Jayce? In a world filled with magic, and the extraordinary is all around us you just want to spend it with...me? [ A frown. ]

I suppose staying in could be nice. Or we could take a walk around the city. But seeing how this very ordinary breakfast plays out is fair enough.

[ A hum from him as he eats a bit more of his food. ]

I'll take any day with you over anything else. [ He reaches over, a hand gently placed on Viktor's cheek, tapping a little playfully before he pulls it back to eat at his food. He eems to be appreciating that. Sappy as it is, it's truthful. He needs Viktor. He loves Viktor. His world is centered on Viktor. ]

For the most brilliant man here, you really act dumb sometimes.

[ Yes, they can see how the day goes. Jayce is happiest with Viktor. He's the most stable with him and at his side. It's a privilege to wake up next to him every day. ]

[ Viktor is gonna scoff and look offended at that, Jayce!!! ]

I-I just never considered this to be a possibility. And you are...were interested in magic from around the time I came here. I would not be too upset with you if you wished to spend your day observing the crystal or strange animals of this place.
